I've been recently introduced to this 20+ year old Korean Village in Nakpil, Malate, just last month, and I've gone back twice since. According to reviews, their food surpasses other expensive Korean restaurants in taste, AND in serving size.
Bibimbap in Stoneware (?)
This dish is available in 2 containers.
This stone container thing should keep your rice good and warm.
There's also a Korean chili sweet sauce which you season the Bibimbap with.
Another plus: look at these FREE and UNLIMITED Appetizers! OMG!
Kimchi
Beansprouts
Tofu
Seasoned Onions (num!)
Eggs
My favorite, Sweetened Anchovies (dilis)
Unsweetened Cold Tea.
Their dishes rarely go past 400php, and each one is good for 2-4 persons.
The heavenly Korean Beef Stew.
Soft and tender meat in sweet sauce.
THIS is the reason why I go back.
Kimchi Rice.
Chopchae - but I think there are better dishes than this.
You can also grill Chicken, Beef, and Seafood.
Their chicken bulgogi tastes best.
FREE Sweet Pineapples for dessert =)
They also offer Korean iced desserts.
Melona ice cream was recommended but they were out of stock when were there.
Happy Au and friends at Korean Village.
WARNING: They are Closed on Mondays.
